Andrea Euenheim
Andrea Euenheim is a seasoned HR executive with extensive experience in publicly listed U.S. and German corporations, specializing in digital B2C and B2B environments. She began her HR career in 1998 as a consultant at TMP Management Consulting in Frankfurt, before transitioning to the biotech startup eLabsEurope AG as Head of HR in 2000. From 2001 to 2007, she held senior HR leadership roles at General Electric across Stamford (USA), London (UK), and Frankfurt (Germany). She then spent over a decade at Amazon, serving as HR Director in Munich and Seattle.
From 2019 to 2022, Andrea Euenheim was a Member of the Management Board and Labor Director at METRO AG, overseeing HR, sustainability, and the eCommerce marketplace MetroMarkets. She later served as Chief People Officer at MessageBird B.V. in Amsterdam until 2023. Additionally, she has been advising Rhenus Logistics Group’s executive board and is a member of the supervisory board of Scount24.
Her expertise includes scaling fast-growing technology companies, driving digital transformation in traditional industries across Europe and Asia, and leading global M&A transactions. She also has deep experience in ESG strategy, focusing on sustainable supply chains, plastic reduction, and food waste minimization. With international leadership experience and specialized ESG training, she is a qualified supervisory board professional.
Dr. Edgar M. W. Kirchmann
Dr Edgar Kirchmann is an Executive Global Partner at TRANSEARCH International and has more than 25 years of experience in international executive search. His studies in industrial engineering at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Germany, with a focus on computer science and operations research, laid the foundation for his successful career. Following his doctorate, which was supported by a scholarship, he completed an international postgraduate programme.
Dr Kirchmann began his career as an assistant to the board of directors at Asea Brown Boveri (ABB), where he was quickly promoted to become the youngest managing director of a subsidiary. Today, he supports leading companies in a wide range of industries, usually in the context of long-term partnerships.
As Global Head Digitalisation & AI Transformation at TRANSEARCH International, Dr Kirchmann combines his expertise in executive search with in-depth knowledge of digitalisation and artificial intelligence to develop innovative solutions for filling management positions.
He is also a member of the Advisory Board of TRANSEARCH International Partners in London.
Dr Kirchmann holds a Master of Science in e-Business and has published numerous articles on topics such as human resource management, organisational development, and innovation management. As a board member of ROTARY, he is also actively involved in social and community projects.
